In January, 2015 the International Judicial Academy hosted a group of judges from Qatar for a week long seminar on mediation. The judges heard lectures and visited the Superior Court of the District of Columbia, the United States District Court for the District of Columbia, the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit, the Federal Judicial Center and the Supreme Court of the United States.

Also in January, 2015, the Academy hosted six law students from China for three weeks. The students spent one week in Washington, D.C., and also experienced a two week internship with judges in the New York area. While in the District of Columbia, the students listed to lectures about the U.S. legal system and visited courts and court and judicial institutions in the area.

During the summer of 2015 the Academy will be hosting several groups of students for its Junior Judges program. The agenda for this program will include one week at the Academy, visits to local legal and judicial institutions, and then two weeks internships with local judges and courts.
